Everyone's greeted with warmth and enthusiasm—it's contagious! Marcos, Hanna, and Jared are absolute gems. There's no place for egos or drama—just a community united by their love for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I came here from Florida to be able to train with Bernardo. This is the best academy in MA easily and could contend for the best academy in the world. The instruction is second to none and this is the most authentic technique you're going to find anywhere. Happy to be a part of such an amazing place.
Our 4-year-old son attends classes here, and we've had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly patient, empathetic, and encouraging. Now he runs into class and can't wait to participate. We've seen his confidence grow over the last year. Coach Jared is incredible with the kids!

A fantastic place to train. Very high level teaching (taught by world champions), a positive culture, and high standards for safety and cleanliness. Bernardo and Marcos are legends, and they take the instruction very seriously. Beginners are welcome and there are tough rounds to be had with very good, very skilled people.
I've been a member at this academy for only 2 weeks and it has drastically exceeded my expectations. The instruction is incredible and environment is extremely welcoming. The instructors are top notch and they work to help you understand fundamentally the sport of Jiu Jitsu. Every class has a purpose and a direction. I started bjj in Nov of 2023, at age 35. After visiting a few bjj spots in my area, Bernardo's was the obvious choice for me. What set them apart was their beginners curriculum. They make sure you learn the basics before being introduced to life rolling. Marcos and Jared are absolutely amazing! If you live near by, this is the place to be.
One of the greatest decisions of my life was beginning my Jiu-Jitsu journey at Bernardo Faria academy. Jared and Joe are both phenomenal instructors, and manage to keep classes engaging and challenging while making sure beginners get a hang of the ropes. The facility is super clean and everyone I practiced with was friendly and respectful. I'll definitely be back here in the future, and I highly recommend trying it out for yourself!
This is the best instruction in BJJ I've ever received. The instructors, in addition to being world class competitors, are able to link specific techniques to larger sequences seamlessly. The foundations of my game have never been stronger as a result. I've never felt such a strong sense of community. Everyone is respectful and ready to welcome new faces. Come train with us!
This is the obvious place to train Jiu jitsu in the area. Great for beginners and expert students. Bernardo is so nice and a great teacher that can show simple details to make anyone better.
I've been to over 50 BJJ gyms around the world and Bernardo Farias in Bedford is one of my all time favorites. Attention is placed on every person in the room and the training is intentional, difficult, and practical. Professor Tinoco is one of the best in the world and the academy has a great overall feel. I drive an hour each way to train here. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
Grateful to be a part of the team at Bernardo's! The people are kind, the facility is clean and the instructors are top notch. Training is challenging and has pushed me to improve my discipline, strength and grappling skill. Highly recommend checking them out.
