Today my blog is going to be a little bit different. One of my good friend, Paul Moran, came to visit my academy in Bedford, MA and I asked him to film a video for me. The reason I asked him to film is because Paul is by far the toughest fighter I have ever met.
Paul is a black belt from Sergio Pena and I met him in 2011. Paul is one of the biggest inspirations in my entire life because Paul has been fighting cancer since 2012 and he is still one of the happiest and nicest guys I have ever met. To be able to keep the attitude that Paul does on a daily basis while going through what he has is unbelievable.
Paul has learned a lot of the things that he uses to fight against cancer from Jiu Jitsu and many other things that he has turned to recently like Meditation, Buddhism, and a lot of the things that Sergio has said to him through out the years.
I asked Paul to make this video because I think it is important to raise awareness on healthy habits in life. Paul has not only gone through all of this cancer and the treatments, his marriage ended and he lost his job as a result of the illness but still everyday he is able to have a smile on his face and he is winning the fight against cancer. Guys I don’t want to keep writing, I will let Paul explain the things he has done in his life below in the video, I hope you enjoy! Ossssss
